Admission to the Master Examinations

Master Students

Students enrolled in the Master in Economics program need to be admitted to the module examinations by the Economics Examination Office. Admission usually takes place in December (see Dates and Times on the left).

In order to be admitted, students need to present

  • a complete CV with photo (picture can be either glued to the CV, stapled or scanned),
  • a certified copy of their Bachelor degree certificate (or a certified translation if your degree certificate is not in English or German; incl. GPA and graduation date),
  • certified proof of English proficiency, at least level B2 of the CEFR [e.g. recognized language tests (TOEFL or IELTS etc.) or equivalent proof (e.g. previous Bachelor study program in English, English language course with appropriate language level during the Bachelor study program, after advanced inquiry only: proven English proficiency during entire school education]
  • the completed application form
(please fill out the form on your computer and print it out),
  • their student ID.

Once all documents are complete, the decision on your admission will be taken.

You cannot participate in the first exam phase if you fail to meet the admission deadline at the beginning of the semester. Before the second exam period there is a subsequent admission deadline. The exact dates can be found under Dates and Times (see portlet on the left).
