Admission to the Master Examinations

Master Students

Students of the Master program in Economics must apply for admission to the Master examination. In order to take part in the examinations of the first semester, the application must be made in the first semester of the study program in the period at the beginning of the semester specified by the Examinations Office (see left column, Dates and Times).

Starting with the summer semester 2021, the admission procedure is digitized and can be applied for via this website.

Please have the following documents ready for upload as PDFs:

  • a completed CV with photo,
  • original bachelor degree certificate and diploma (or a certified translation if your degree certificate is not in English or German; incl. overall grade and graduation date),
  • proof of English proficiency, at least on level B2 of the CEFR [e.g. recognized language tests (TOEFL or IELTS etc.) or equivalent proof (e.g. previous Bachelor study program in English, English language course with appropriate language level during the Bachelor study program, with restriction (please contact us): proven English proficiency during entire school education].

Please do not send us any documents by post unless you are separately requested to do so (e.g. by e-mail).

If you fail to apply for admission within the announced period, exam registration and participation within the 1st exam period will not be possible. A subsequent admission date will be offered before the 2nd examination period. The exact dates can be found under Dates and Times (see portlet on the left).

(form will be available during the application period (see left column Dates and Times))
